Bikini Fest

I’ve been busying myself today doing last minute shopping and packing for my trip to Indonesia tomorrow, March 2oth. To make sure that I won’t have any problems sashaying down the beaches of Bali, I bought three new swimsuits. Teehee.
Come to think of it, since year 2001, I have owned 46 swimsuits in all! So these new ones are officially my 44th, 45th and 46th. I used to buy from Speedo before and in fairness, they did serve their purpose for several years. But because we frequently go out of town and bask in the numerous beaches in our country, I’ve come to love the more affordable pieces (ranging from P500-P1500 per pair) from SM Dept. Store, Nothing But Water, So-En and beach tiangges in Puerto Galera and Boracay.
They may not be as high end as Speedo but I believe I get more for my money’s worth. I choose those with colors that complement my skin tone, those with cuts that can accentuate my curves and those that will basically look good on me. I’d like to believe that I have chosen well throughout these years. Come take a look at my collection so far:

Hello Summer (Part I)

Believe it or not, this was the costume I donned in one of my recent job interviews. I was asked to wear something that best captures my essence. Since I am The Sexy Nomad and I love going to the beach and traveling to exotic places more than anything in the world, I figured, a nice “touristy” beach wear would be perfect. I looked fun, don’t you think?
