Holiday Getup
December 31, 2009I didn’t go out much this holiday season. The only few times I did, I was with my family. As usual, come Christmas time, I always try to wear something red. So last Dec. 25-29, to celebrate Christmas and my Dad’s birthday, these were the outfits that I came up with.
The yellow tank top is from Abercrombie and Fitch, a gift from Popsy in the U.S.; the red skirt and red top are from the tiangge, earrings from Boracay, shoes from Crocs and head band from SM

The red beret is from Baguio, shoes from Crocs, brown haltered tube dress from YRYS, red knitted sweater from 248, watch from Liz Claiborne, jewelry from Karat Gold and Filegrenasia

Dresses for the Weekend
December 21, 2009I wasn’t really in the mood to think about what to wear the last few days. I actually had no plan of going out. But we had to do groceries and run a couple of errands so I just grabbed the first thing that I saw inside my closet on those days. something comfortable and easy to wear. These were the attires that I came up with:
Pink dress from YRYS, slip-ons from Toe Berries, Cardigan from SM, jewelry from Filegrenasia, watch from Anne Klein.
Red dresses from 248, black dress from YRYS, shoes by Crocs, jewelry by Bohemian Nation, red bag by Gerbaud,

Furry Little Things Called Gloves
December 10, 2009I’m usually locked in my “office” blogging and doing some online stuff. So the minute I step out of the room, I immediately notice the change in temperature. You see, the air conditioner is always in full blast in my office. I even wear my fur jacket just to keep me warm and cozy. On this particular day, I notice that it’s not as cold outside as the previous days. I wonder why. I hope the weather will cooperate with the yuletide season. I know it’s too much of a miracle to ask for snow since I’m living in a tropical country, but I do pray it gets really cold so I can wear these cute furry little things called gloves. ^_^
All Covered Up
December 8, 2009It’s starting to get cold. Christmas is definitely around the corner and after all my travels, this was one of the few times I went out of the house to attend an event in Makati City. Aside from the fact that the weather was starting to get really cold, I also wanted to hide my falling skin (due to sunburn from too much sunbathing in Cagbalete Island and Malapascua Island) and my fire ant bites (poor me… I got them while resting under a coconut tree in Malapascua last Nov. 30, tsk, tsk) so this was what I wore during the Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream Launch:
cap, shades and bag by YRYS, capiz earrings from Boracay, real gold necklace I bought in 2004 from a Muslim vendor in GSIS, black long sleeve top from an ukay-ukay shop in Tagaytay, jumper dress from 248 and my ever reliable Mango boots.
Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream and Olay Age Defying Bar
December 7, 2009I attended the Olay Regenerist Microsculpting Cream Launch last Saturday, December 5, 2009 at SM Makati. I’ve been using Olay Total Effects cream for several years now. Sometimes, I even buy my mom her own supply. I only stopped to try the Christian Dior Sherbet my cousin gave me but I am definitely going back to Olay. Dior was okay but I had little breakouts every now and then. So this launch was really timely because my skin is in dire need of regeneration especially since I’ve been to two beach trips and my skin is more damaged than usual. I am also using the Olay Age Defying soap right now and the Olay Regenerist Facial Cleanser and I think I will purchase some more. It feels good on my skin. Actually, both products make my skin feel soft, supple and smooth to touch. The Olay Regenerist is best for women (and men too) 30 years and up. Kudos to P&G for coming up with such such superb products!

Black and White in Singapore Part II
December 6, 2009Like I said in my previous similar blog post, I had to travel light to Singapore. So to continue with my black and white affair (actually, just mostly black… “black and white” just sounds nicer…hehehe), here are the rest of the clothes I wore during that trip:
Hat is a gift from my bestfriend Mer, shades and loop earrings from YRYS, black leather body bag from Home TV Shopping, baby dress by Preppy, red top (below) by 248, bandana/scarf from Surplus Shop, shoes by Crocs, watch by Guess, silver and pearl rings by Charriol, silver ring by Filegrenasia and plastic ring from a trinket shop in Hong Kong, turquoise blue contact lense from Executive Optical.
Black and White in Singapore Part I
December 5, 2009I went to Singapore last Oct. 23-25, 2009 for the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards. In order to keep my luggage at a minimum, I decided to have one motif for most of my attires — black and white…well, mostly black. This made me save a lot of time in packing and pairing up clothes with accessories and footwear, which also meant I can shop some more when I get to Singapore (which I did). ^_^
