Bubble Tea Getup
October 29, 2010I wasn’t aware that I was about to taste so many scrumptious dishes and flavorful milk tea drinks at Bubble Tea that night. It’s a good thing then that I wore this loose striped shirt… a bit big for me that it actually looked like the off-the-shoulder type and matched so well with my old belt, pleated skirt and gladiator boots. See the rest of my Bubble Tea event getup…
Funky Bowling Getup
October 28, 2010This was my bowling getup when I went to SM Mall of Asia to attend their Funky Bowling event. Unfortunately, I liked my outfit so much that I didn’t really do any funky bowling. I took lots of photos though, ate the yummny dishes they served and cheered my teammates as they bowl the funky way. I’ll just do the funky bowling next time I get a chance… perhaps, this coming Halloween when four SM branches will host a Halloween Funky Bowl. See yah!
My Nuvali Getup
October 26, 2010
Knowing that I’d be going to Nuvali on that sunny (and sometimes a bit drizzling) October day, I opted to wear my new pair of striped shorts, yellow ruffled blouse, yellow ballerina shoes, black knitted and hooded vest and black Marc Jacobs sunglasses. And after two years, I also wore my rasta necklace, earrings and headband as well which perfectly matched my entire getup. I remember buying them outside Xaymaca along Timog when Brownman Revival used to play there.
We did a lot of Nuvali fun activities during that day. Sometimes it would drizzle a bit but most f the time, the weather was hot. I did not bring any extra clothes with me. Thanks to my hooded vest and my free Nuvali umbrella, as well as my old waterproof G-shock watch, I was protected from the fickle weather. My blouse and shoes were very comfy. And even if I ate a lot a lot Reyes Barbecue that day, my yellow blouse was big enough to conceal my tummy. Hehehe.
My Focaccia Getup
October 18, 2010I seldom wear real green clothing, like the color that is the same hue as Christmas tree leaves. Well, I bought this raw edged/ruffled blouse from one of my sale collection and decided to wear it that day that I went food binging at Focaccia located at The Fort in Taguig.
The fabric of this blouse is so smooth, light and feels cool to touch. It was long enough to cover my tummy and my butt so it’s perfect when I paired it with my beige leggings. Now, I can eat all I want and never have to worry about my jeans not fitting. Hehehe.
Until now, I feel blessed that I get to wear these kinds of clothes, made of top quality jersey fabric, but at affordable prices. I think even if I go to one of those mall sales like the one in SM Cubao, I will never find anything exactly like this.
Anyway, the color suited me well. I paired it my my green pair od ballerina shoes and my Burberry bag. For jewelry, I wore my native necklace and earrings from Boracay. I’m no longer well-tanned. I haven’t been to the beach since May when we went to Caramoan Peninsula. So my skin is a lot lighter these days, perfect for this kind of green blouse. ^_^

I want some Butterscotch
October 17, 2010That’s me with Butterscotch owner, Dimples Sandoval
No, I don’t mean food. Butterscotch is this brand of apparel and accessories conceptualized and owned by Dimples Sandoval, a martial artist and a young fashion entrepreneur. I was fortunate enough to visit her shop at BF Homes, Paranaque during the launch of her direct selling business, all thanks to my friend Irene. Her clothes don’t come cheap but if you register for membership, you will be able to avail of great discounts and Php800.00 referral fee. I am writing about her business, not as a member, but as a fashion enthusiast. I’m not getting paid to do this. It’s just quite inspiring how young entrepreneurs follow their dreams and it all works out great.
Find out a little bit more information by heading to Butterscotch Wears Enterprise. I hope to be able to come up with my own simple fashion line someday too. I can dream, can’t I? ^_^

October 14, 2010
I got the chance to witness a FAB fashion show held at World Trade Center last Oct. 8. I was curious to find out what the latest trends in fashion were and what these young fashion entrepreneurs are up to these days so I decided to go. I may be the only blogger there and the others who covered the show were from traditional media.

Shopping Challenge Getup
October 2, 2010It was a rainy morning and it was wet and traffic all over the Metro. Considering that it was already gloomy, I wanted the color of my getup to stand out and shout bright, sunny and happy. And os, yesterday, when I got invited to participate in the SM Cubao 3-day sale, I donned one of my colorful jumpsuits l, placed a sleevelss fur vest, wore my Crocs flats and voila, I shooed away the rain with my very happy getup.
